50 The purpose of your job position is to assist the Maintenance Manager with the day-to-day activities (installing, repairing and upkeep) of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations that govern the facility and to ensure the safety of all residents and personnel as directed by your supervisor and/or the Administrator.
The Maintenance Assistant will treat each resident with kindness, dignity and respect.
They will work cooperatively with all departments and multidisciplinary teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESReminding staff to follow all safety regulations, facility policies and hand-washing proceduresPerforming regular inspections of resident rooms for order safety and proper performance of equipmentProviding or scheduling facility repairs as neededUsing protective safety equipment as requiredMonitoring electrical and hydraulic systems routinely to ensure functionalityCoordinating routine terminal isolation procedures with nursing and housekeepingConfirming that containers of hazardous chemicals in the department are properly labeled and storedAssisting in maintaining material data safety sheets (MSDS)Ensuring that assigned personnel wear and use protective safety equipment as requiredEnsuring that fire protection and prevention programs are maintained by all personnelMaintaining the facilities interior and exterior area neatKeeping the storage area neat and safeEnsuring all equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of each shiftMaintaining maintenance logs weekly, monthly and quarterly as requiredWorking within parameters of operational budgetAttending annual in-service meetingsFollow safety regulations and precautions at all timesReporting any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous materials to a supervisor immediately Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position.

REQUIREMENTSEducation / LicensureHigh school diploma or GED preferredTrade school or college courses in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, etc.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
