Job Objective:

Support the Renker Wellness Center teaching exercise classes in a group setting as well as 1:
1 interviews with participants in the center, including Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Collaborate in the educational classes related to wellness offered by the RWCDevelop exercise programs for seniors with complex medical issues to support optimal wellbeing.

ACSM Certification of Exercise Physiology & Health Fitness Specialist Experience Required:
Two (2) years of experience in fitness, personal training or clinical experience in an educational programEssential ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violationsPerforms fitness evaluations and creates exercise prescriptions in conjunction with clinical assessment evaluationsPerforms fitness evaluations as requestedTracks participation and adjusts fitness classes based on evaluation of group demographics including age, fitness levels and medical conditionsObserves participants during exercise for signs of stress and demonstrates correct use of equipment and exercise routinesConduct lectures within areas of education and expertisePerforms other duties as assigned.
