Job Description:
This position ensures that all hotel guests, associates, and hotel property are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains the highest standards of Security at all times, being professional in attitude, appearance, and application.
Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses, while upholding life safety requirements of the pool area Monitor all guests and associates entering and leaving the pool area.
Ensures all guests entering have the proper wrist bands; communicate and uphold pool entry protocol to support all life safety requirements Conduct bag checks to ensure no prohibited items are brought to the pool area Performs Security Patrols around the gate entrances Responds immediately to emergency incidents and Security requests.
Ensures the safety of our guest, associates, and hotel property at all times.
Reports in writing on all activities during each shift before leaving the hotel, with oral reports and emergency notifications delivered as directed by the established Security procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Previous security related experience preferred.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone/radio Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions Ability to work well under pressure Able to stand and walk for the duration of shift, up to 8 hours a day.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend/stoop, and push/pull/lift up to 50lbs Candidate must be able to handle extreme weather outdoors and work in various weather conditions.
Pay:
$17.
50/hour.
The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay.
Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.
