Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow - Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations - Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure timely and accurate billing and insurance claims processing - Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve patient satisfaction - Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure data accuracy and security - Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ordering as needed - Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical office management Skills:
- Strong background in healthcare administration or related field - Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and coding systems - Proficiency in practice management software such as Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks - Experience with utilization management processes and insurance claims processing - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers - Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making processes - Proven experience in office management or supervisory roles Note:
