Your Role and
Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for overseeing the operations, purchasing, inventory and presentation of all departments, ensuring proper level of stock is maintained and that product placement is optimal for maximizing product profitability.
You will supervise department managers to ensure efficient productivity and necessary trainings are completed.
This position generally has one or more direct reports.
Duties include:
Conduct daily walk-through of each department to ensure products are adequately stocked and faced at all times.
Ensure all departments are in compliance with OSHA and Heath Department standards Review weekly schedule of department staff; manage hours to ensure maximum profitability Monitor compliance of safety policies, procedures, company policies, and state and local regulations Monitor sales volume, inspect store inventory levels, and maintain in-store promotional materials Monitor inventory for spoilage and ensure proper rotation of merchandise Ensure security and safety of employees, customers, and company assets Other related duties and assignments as required Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Three (3) years experience in store operations; at least two of which are a supervisory role Strong leadership skills, including servant leadership and the ability to manage a team Highly effective organizational and time management skills Ability to follow through on routine tasks and timely completion of daily responsibilities Proven record of successful coaching and mentoring others in their growth Ability to analyze reports to recognize trends and develop sales projections and identify cost saving measures Propensity to project a positive attitude and look for solutions to problems The Assistant Store Director is a salaried full time, benefit eligible position including, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, paid vacation, and sick time.
Salary Range:
$66,560 - $77,000.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
