We are currently seeking a professional, patient, and empathetic Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist Physicians and the clinical staff in the delivery of healthcare by performing a variety of medical and office related tasks in the Back Office.
Core Job Duties (but not limited to):
Prepare patients for office visits/procedures Note brief history and the reason for the visit in the patient's chart Perform and record accurate vital signs data Assist providers with examinations and procedures as instructed Assist providers with injections as ordered Ensure patient information is correct Triage patient phone calls Requirements:
Required Education:
Graduate of Medical Assistant Program Credentials:
Medical Assistant Certification & CPR Strong written and communication skills Must have experience working in a Medical Assistant position or directly related field, and at least 1 year working in the Back office Proficiency with EMR system and excellent computer skills Spanish Speaking (Preferred, but not required) Qualifications Ability to Work in a fast-paced environment Multi-task Provide the highest quality of Customer Service Be a team player Experience with chronic pain population a plus! The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
